WebCD Globe Build Wizard: WebCD Source

This dialog is displayed when you select CD-Recordable on the Build Wizard Destination Dialog.

Would you like to build from an existing hard disk image?

Yes. The image is in this folder:

Writes a previously built image to the CD-Recordable. Specify the location of the previously built image. This field is automatically set to the default viewer image location which is the Image folder beneath the project's folder. For example,

. . ./Projects/MarketScape/Image

where MarketScape is the project folder. If you choose this option, after clicking the Next button, you will immediately be placed onto the Build Summary screen, so writing to CD-Recordable can begin.

Note Do not choose this option if you have made any changes since the last build that you wish to include in the resulting WebCD Viewer image, such as retrieving additional files, modifying bookmarks, or changing build options.

Browse

Browse to the location of your previously built image.

No. Build directly from the current project.

Perform a build before writing to the CD-Recordable.

Note Do not use this option if you have made any customizations to the WebCD Image folder such as:

  • Including a Helpers.ini and additional helper applications in your Viewer Image directory
  • Including an autorun.inf to automatically run your WebCD for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 users.
  • Excluding Microsoft Internet Explorer or using your own version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  • Specifying additional file extensions to be directly launched from the WebCD Bookmarks window.
